Dr. Jacob Miller provides family care and sports medicine services.

He treats:

  • Athletic training injuries
  • Concussions
  • Medical and behavioral needs of athletes
  • Nonoperative musculoskeletal conditions
  • Osteoporosis

Dr. Miller is also a clinical assistant professor of family medicine at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine.

Sanford Health Biography

Jacob Miller, MD, received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha. He completed his residency at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado, where he served as a team physician for the University of Northern Colorado and Greeley West High School. In 2016, he completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he conducted research on exercise and injury in professional rodeo athletes, and provided sports medicine coverage for events including amateur and professional/Olympic athletes. Dr. Miller will provide family medicine and sports medicine care at Sanford Aberdeen, while serving as the team physician for NSU, Central High School, and other area high schools. Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, team and calf roping, and musical performance.
