2025-26: Competed in 10 meets for the Wolves… Recorded career personal bests in the 600m (1:23.19) and 800m (1:58.22)… Won the 600m at the U-Mary Winter Classic and SDSU Last Chance… Added runner-up finishes in the 800m against Jamestown and the 4x400 relay at the Dewey Donat Classic… Recorded a fourth-place finish in the 600m at the UND Open and fifth in the 800m at the Dewey Donat Classic… Tallied nine top-10 finishes on the season…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…

2024-25: Did not compete… Honored NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence… 

2023-24: Competed in 11 meets for the Wolves… Recorded personal bests in the 600m (1:23.67), 400m (52.38), and 800m (2:00.05)…

Prep: Turner Thorson is a middle-distance runner out of Ipswich High School. He is a 12-year letter winner for the Tigers under the direction of head coach Todd Thorson. He holds personal bests of 23.64 in the 200m, 52.04 in the 400m. Thorson is an Academic All-State recipient and a member of the South Dakota State B Championship team. He is the son of Tadd and Heather Thorson.
