2025-26: Competed in 10 meets for the Wolves… Recorded career personal bests in the shot put (13.29m), weight throw (13.79m), and hammer throw (46.49m)… Posted a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the SDSU Last Chance… Added sixth-place finishes in the shot put against Jamestown and the javelin at the South Dakota Challenge… Tallied eight top-10 finishes on the season… Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…
2024-25: Competed in 13 meets for the Wolves… Recorded personal bests of 3853 in the heptathlon, 6.03m in the long jump, 10.11 in the 55m hurdles, 12.60m in the shot put, and 5141 in the decathlon… Notched seven top-10 finishes on the year… Honored NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…
2023-24: Competed in 11 meets for the Wolves… Tallied personal bests of 53.56 in the 400m, 7.64 in the 60m, 11.77m in the shot put, 37.44m in the discus, 1.65m in the high jump, 11.63 in the 100m, 5:20.69 in the 1500m, 41.67m in the javelin, 3.27m in the pole vault… 20.01 in the 110m hurdles, 5.58m in the long jump, and 5118 in the decathlon… Notched four top-10 finishes on the year…
Prep: Ross Kortenbusch is a multi-event competitor out of Parkers Prairie High School. He is a 2-year letter winner and team captain for the Panthers under the direction of head coach Mike Johnson. In 2022, he earned the Park Region Conference Most Valuable Thrower award. Kortenbusch placed third in the discus and shotput at the Section 6A Meet. He holds personal bests of 139'0" in the discus, 42'5" in the shot put. He is the son of Amy and Russell Kortenbusch.
