2017-18: Competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, 4x100m, 4x400m, sprint and distance medley relay for the Wolves… Recorded season bests of 11.64w in the 100m, 23.47 in the 200m, 50.56 in the 400m, and 1:24.21 in the 600m… Tallied nine top ten finishes on the season…

2016-17: Recorded personal bests of 49.17 in the 400m, 1:21.22 in the 600m, and 2:00.95 in the 800m… Was a member of the winning 4x400m relay at the indoor Bison Classic, Cobber Duals, and Nebraska Tune-up… Earned two All-Conference honors at the NSIC Indoor Championships finishing second in the 4x400m relay and the 600m… Was a member of the winning 4x400m relay at the NSU Twilight… Finished as the runner-up in the 4x400m relay at the NSIC Outdoor Championships, earning All-Conference…

2015-16: Competed in the sprint and relay events for the Wolves… Tallied 27 top-10 finishes on the year… Was a member of the winning 4x400m relay at the NSU Twilight… Recorded a personal indoor best in the 300m (36.35), and outdoor bests in the 200m (22.82) and 400m (50.12)…

2014-15: Recorded personal bests in the 200m (23.71) and 400m (51.47)… Tallied 18 top ten finishes on the year… Placed first in the 4x4 relay at the Masanz Classic and the 1600m sprint medley relay at the Sioux City Relays… 

Career and Season Bests

Before NSU: Wietgrefe has had quite a career so far for the Spartans. Wietgrefe placed sixth his sophomore year and second his junior season in the 400-meter dash at the state meet and also placed eighth in the 200 dash as a junior. Wietgrefe also anchored the state champion 4x400-meter relay team and was named his team's MVP following both his sophomore and junior years. Wietgrefe holds PR's of 11.10 in the 100, 22.71 in the 200 and 49.92 in the 400.
