Prep: Kibet Brian Selim is a distance runner our of Kericho, Kenya. He holds personal bests of 24:37.25 in the 8000m, 14:18.09 in the 5000m, 8:23.11 in the 3000m, and 30:23.00 in the 10k. In 2024 he competed at the Chepsaita Great Cross Country in the 8k with a time of 24:38.21 and the Eldoret City Half Marathon with a time of 1:03.14. He is the son of Robert Kipkoech and Edna Selim.
