TJ Hochstetler

TJ Hochstetler enters his third year as an assistant for the track and field programs in 2021-22. Hochstetler is no stranger to NSU as a recent graduate and track and field alumni. He will work primarily with the throwers and multi events.

Over the course of his undergraduate career, Hochstetler worked the Northern State track and field camps and pole vaulting clinics.

Hochstetler competed in the multi events for the Wolves in his 4-year career. In his senior campaign he tallied personal bests of 5,111 in the heptathlon finishing second from the NSIC Indoor Championships and 6,613 in the decathlon taking third in the NSIC Outdoor Championships. His outdoor mark of 6,613 was a national provisional qualifying mark and just 267 points off the Northern State school record.

He received his bachelor's degree in Human Performance and Fitness in May of 2019, with a minor in coaching. Hochstetler is pursuing a master's degree at Northern State.
