Biography
2007-08: Competed in XC and indoor and outdoor track with a 9th place finish at the NSIC Championships
2006-07: Competed in XC and indoor and outdoor track with a 3th place finish at the NSIC Championships
High School: Participated in the South Dakota state cross country meet 5 years and was a place winner three times (24th sophomore, 19th junior, and 13th senior)…placed three out of four years at state track (8th medley sophomore, 3rd medley and 1st team junior, and 8th medley and 7th 3200 senior). ..participated in SD state wrestling three times and placed every time (6th sophomore, 2nd junior, and state champ as a senior).
Personal: Josh is son of Richard and Linda Schmeichel (Milbank, SD). He has one older brother, Leslie, and one older sister, Amanda. Josh is majoring in Math Education.
