2024: Appeared 11 games for the Wolves on the mound with a record of 1-2 on the season… Pitched 13.0 innings and recorded ten strikeouts…  Accumulated an ERA of 10.38…  

2023: Appeared in nine games for the Wolves on the mound with a record of 0-1 on the season… Pitched 8.2 innings and threw 2.0 innings or more in two games… Tallied seven strikeouts and notched a career-high of four strikeouts in a game against Minnesota Duluth… Recorded one save during the year in game at Winona State…

2022: Appeared in four games on the mound for the Wolves… Allowed six hits and five earned runs… Threw two strikeouts in 2.1 innings pitched… Did not allow a hit or a run in 2.0 combined innings against Pittsburg State and Wayne State…

Prep: Tyler Boyum is a 6-foot-2, right-handed pitcher out of Washington High School. He was a 4-year letter winner and 3-year starter for the Warriors under the direction of head coach Corey Vasquez. As a prep, he earned all-region, all-state, and academic all-state honors in addition to being named a South Dakota Player of the Year finalist. In 2021 he batted over .400 with 15+ extra base hits and threw over 60 strikeouts with a sub 2.00 ERA to lead WHS to a state runner-up finish. Boyum also played for the Sioux Falls East Legion baseball team. He is the son of Raina and Kevin Boyum.
