2020: Appeared in 11 games, making nine starts… Hit .367 with 11 hits, one double, two RBI, and nine runs scored… Added three stolen bases and a .412 on base percentage…

2019: Appeared in 45 games, making 42 starts on the year… Recorded a .302 batting average with 39 hits, 15 runs scored, five doubles, and 17 RBI… Notched a .324 on-base percentage… Added one stole base… Tallied a .959 fielding percentage with 66 putouts, four assists and three errors…

Pre-NSU: Sara Bendt is an outfielder out of Rapid City Stevens High School and Salt Lake Community College. As a prep, Bendt was a 3-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Raiders under head coach Sheri Grismer. She hit over .500 in each of her three seasons and was a 2-time all-tournament and all-state honoree. She is starter and team captain with the Bruins, currently hitting .465 in 35 starts. SLCC went 51-8 in 2017, finishing as the NJCAA National Runner-up. She is the daughter of Shellie and Mike Bendt.
