Wes McKenzie enters his second season with the NSU men's basketball team. The Colorado Springs, Colo., native attended Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colo., where he played for Northern alumn Houston Reed. As a team captain at Otero, McKenzie helped lead the Rattlers to a region championship and an apperance in the Elite Eight.
After receiving his A.A. from Otero, McKenzie went on to play at Fort Lewis College where he was a part of two very successful squads and earned his B.A. in Business Administration.
McKenzie is working toward his Master's in Spotr Performance and Leadership at NSU.
