Tom Parks makes his return to the Northern State men’s team, this time as an assistant coach. Parks, a native of Cheyenne, Wyo., spent his final season of eligibility at NSU, averaging 10.9 points and 2.7 rebounds for the Wolves in 2010-11, the first season under head coach Paul Sather. Prior to coming to the Wolves, Parks played one season at Sheridan College, leading the Generals to the quarterfinals of the Region XI tournament before spending two seasons at Youngstown State of the Horizon League. Parks spent the last year playing professionally overseas with the Global Caja Basket Quintanar in Spain. Parks will be finishing his master’s degree in HPE/Coaching at Northern State.
