David Mieure

Mieure begins his second season with the Wolves as a graduate assistant coach. A native of Roseville, Minn., Mieure comes to Northern after spending time as an assistant at DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis. Mieure helped lead the Islanders to a 30-1 record and a 2013 Class 3AAA State Championship. At DeLaSalle, Mieure developed a 2014 ESPN Top-23 recruit and a 2015 ESPN Top-55 recruit.

Previously, Mieure was a Coordinator of Women’s Basketball Operations at the University of Miami (FL). There he advanced two WNBA Draft Picks, five overseas professionals, two All-Americans and achieved the best ranking in school history (5th), a 3-Seed in the NCAA Tournament, and a 41-Game consecutive home winning streak.

Mieure also previously coached at Roseville Area High School (Roseville, Minn.). Mieure played, managed, and coached as an undergrad at St. John’s University (in Collegeville, Minn.).  A 2008 graduate of SJU with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership in Organizations, Mieure is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Performance and Leadership at Northern State.
