Pre-NSU: Avery Terwilliger is a 5-foot-10 guard out of Humboldt High School and Iowa Central. She was a 4-year starter and senior team captain as a prep, averaging over 13.0 points per game in her final three seasons. Terwilliger was named to the first team all-conference, all-region team, third team all-state, and was the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star game MVP. She averaged 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game last season at Iowa Central, where she earned all-region second team honors. ICCC advanced to the semifinal round of the region tournament in both of her two seasons. She is the daughter of Andy Terwilliger and Doug and Rhonda Van Pelt and will join the Wolves with two years of eligibility.
