Biography

Prep: Willem Hoefler is a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back out of Saint Croix Falls High School. He was a 2-year starter and team captain for the Saints under the direction of head coach Grant Belisle. In his final two season, Hoefler recorded 99 tackles, 20 pass breakups, five interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles. He was a 2-time all-conference, all-region, and all-state selection. Hoefler was rated the top defensive back in the Heart O’North conference in both 2023 and 2024. SCFHS advanced to the Wisconsin state semifinals in the fall of 2023 and went 11-1 last season. He is the son of Bill and Mariette Hoefler.
