Prep: Trey King is a 6-foot, 210-pound wide receiver out of Irene-Wakonda High School. He was a 4-year starter and senior team captain for the Eagles under the direction of head coach Chris Torgerson. King recorded 1,297 yards receiving, 3,608 yards rushing, and 5,923 yards passing in his career. He added 78 touchdowns (receiving and rushing) and 72 passing scores. As a senior, he tallied 2,882 yards passing with 40 touchdowns, and 1,344 yards rushing with 18 touchdowns. King was an all-state honorable mention wide receiver in 2015, and a 2-time all-state first team selection in 2017 and 2018. He is the son of Michael and Jennifer King, and brother of Wolves basketball student-athlete Gabe King.
