2015: Appeared in ten games for the Wolves, making nine starts… Tallied 49 tackles, 16 unassisted and 33 assisted… Added 0.5 tackles for a loss…

2014: Played in all 11 games for NSU… Tallied 46 total tackles (14 solo), with a season high nine versus Concordia-St. Paul… Recorded one tackle for a loss and forced a fumble… 

2013: Appeared in all 11 games … fourth on the team with 50 total tackles on the year and had two for a loss … had five or more tackles in five games … season-high 10 tackles including one for loss against No. 5 Minnesota Duluth (11/16)

2012: Redshirt season

Prep: Heining is a three-sport all-conference athlete from ACGCHS and will continue his football career with the Wolves next fall. He earned All-West Central South Conference honors as a senior after recording 465 total offensive yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, he notched 78 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions. For his efforts he earned co-MVP and Iron Man honors for the Falcons, while also serving as a team captain. Heining is also a 1,000-point scorer for the Falcons on the basketball court and has All-Conference certificates for both basketball and baseball. He is also active in various extra-curricular activities, including student council and as a special education assistant. He also serves as a youth coach for basketball, football and summer rec programs.
