Previously: Tripp joins the Wolves squad after a stint at Black Hills State where he played under the direction of head coach Jay Long. While at BHSU, Tripp earned Defensive Scout Player of the Year in 2006, Special Teams player of the Year in 2007 and 2008. While in high school at West Central, Tripp was a four-year letterwinner and captain of the squad in 2004 and 2005. He was also an All-State team member in 2004 and 2005, an All-Conference selection in ’04 and ’05, a 2005 Honorable Mention All-American, 2005 team MVP, and Defensive MVP in 2004 and 2005. Tripp also earned the State Championship Joe Robbie Memorial MVP in 2005 and was named to the Elite 45 in 2004 and 2005. Tripp also earned six letters in wresting and three in track and field.
