2015: Appeared in all 11 games, making ten starts on the year for the Wolves… Recorded 111 yards receiving with 14 receptions… Averaged 7.9 yards per reception and 10.1 yards per game… Notched 15 yards rushing on six carries… Tallied three receiving touchdowns… 

2014: Appeared in 11 games and made six starts on the year… Recorded one tackle versus Bemidji State… Tallied 12 carries for a total of 134 yards and two touchdowns… Notched a season high seven carries for 83 yards and one touchdown versus Minnesota Crookston… Totaled 24 recpetions for 203 yards of offense and two touchdowns… Garnered 337 all-purpose yards, with 122 coming against Minnesota Crookston

2013: Made six starts and appeared in 11 games … third on the team with 17 catches and had 169 yards receiving with two touchdowns … had four catches for 72 yards and a touchdown against Sioux Falls (9/14)

2012: Redshirt season

Prep: A 2011 South Dakota All-Star, All-GDC Conference and All-State pick, Houchin was named as the Cobblers' special teams and offensive MVP after scoring 13 touchdowns on 49 carries in his senior season under head coach Trent Pikula. He racked up 835 yards on the ground in that campaign, while also going 6-for-6 in field goal attempts on special teams. For his efforts, Houchin was also named to the “Best of the West” team and as the West River Monster Player of the Year.
