Prep: Tate Crosswait is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker out of Stevens High School. He was a 4-year starter and team captain for the Raiders under the direction of head coach Michael Scott. Crosswait tallied 346 career tackles, including 12.0 sacks. He played both ways as a senior, passing for 960 yards and seven touchdowns. Crosswait is a 2-time all-state selection, 2-time Best of the West Linebacker, and all-conference honoree, and Argus Leader Elite 45 team member. He holds the SHS records for career tackles and single season tackles. He is the son of Jon and Courtney Crosswait. His aunt, Bethany Crosswait was a member of multiple conference championship women’s basketball team’s at NSU.
