2013: Appeared in all 11 games mostly playing special teams … had one catch for 13 yards in NSU’s 22-21 win over Minot State (10/12)

2012: Appeared in 7 games on the season... Averaged 8.4 yards per reception...

2011: Played in 4 games for the Wolves... Caught first career reception on Sept. 24 against Wayne State...

2010: Redshirt season.

Pre-NSU: Spencer is a three time letter winning in football and was named to All-State, ESD All-Conference, and named team captain. Spencer also lettered twice in basketball at Aberdeen Central High School in South Dakota. He was also parted of the student senate at Central High School.

Personal: Son of Mike and Karen Flakus...born November 4, 1991...Mike, father, and Karen, mother, both attended NSU. Mike was also Spencer football coach at Central High School.
