Before Northern
An all-around athlete playing both sides of the ball, Blader racked up 430 yards rushing and 162 yards receiving with 10 total touchdowns as a senior at Perry HS under head coach Preston Jones. Blader was named to the Second Team All-Region squad and was a First Team All-Conference pick, both as a defensive back. As a junior, Blader ran for 253 yards and had 127 yards receiving with four total touchdowns en-route to Second Team All-Region honors at the running back position. He helped the Pumas to a 9-3 record as a junior and the first playoff win in school history. PHS lost in the first round of the state playoffs his senior season. Blader is also a member of the wrestling and track and field squads for the Pumas and holds a mark of 43 feet, 10 inches in the triple jump. Off the field, Blader is active in various clubs and community service projects.
