Biography

Before NSU
Hjelseth was a four-year starter and team captain for Head Coach Jason Thielges at Davies High School. Hjelseth was a Class 3A First Team All-State selection in 2013 for the Eagles. Hjelseth had two interceptions his senior season for Davies and returned one back for a touchdown. Hjelseth scored nine touchdowns in four different ways (rushing, receiving, interception and kickoff return) during his senior season. He is also a member of the Davies track team.
