Pre-NSU:  Fielger was a four year starter for Alcoa HS earning two Tennessee state championships during his prep career...named three-time All-State and four-time All-County...tied the state championship game record with four touchdown passes...threw for 8,300 yards and 98 touchdowns during his prep career...was a 1st Team Junior College All-American at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia...also doubled as a punter and averaged 44.7 yards per punt....junior college team finished in the top-10 both seasons....
