Pre-NSU:  George was a three time letter winner in football,  was awarded to the All-Serra League and named Defensive MVP during his freshman, sophmore, and senior years at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino California.  George also letter twice in baseball.

Personal:  Son of George Alvarez Sr. and Tina Alvarez...born August 7, 1992.
