Prep: Donald Jurek is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound quarterback out of Willmar High School. He was a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Cardinals under head coach Jon Konold. In his junior season he threw for 2,038 yards and rushed for 555 yards, with 18 passing touchdowns and six rushing scores. He appeared in four games his senior season prior to an injury, where Jurek notched 801 yards passing, 201 yards rushing, 13 passing touchdowns, and one rushing touchdown.  Jurek is a 2-time all-district selection, 2-time West Central Tribune All-Area pick, and the 2017 District MVP recipient. He is the son of Paul and Jean Jurek.
