High School: Vanderpan is a 2008 graduate of Century High School in Bismarck, ND. He played two years of varsity football where he quickly became a captain. He was named First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-State his senior year. He also lettered four years in track and was fifth at the State Track Meet in high jump his junior year.
