Prep: Dan Peterson is a 5-foot-11, 225-pound defensive lineman out of Timber Lake High School. He was a 3-year starter and team captain for the Panthers under the direction of head coach Ryan Gimbel. As a senior, Peterson recorded 89 tackles, 9.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. In the fall of 2023, he was honored on the all-conference and all-state first teams, Best of the West team, and Argus Leader Elite 45 team. He is the son of Leah Peterson.
