Prep: A 3-time All-State pick, Odermann racked up 384 tackles, seven interceptions and seven fumble recoveries in his career with the Armstrong-Ringsted High School Mustangs, who went 51-4 with two state titles and four straight trips to the state playoffs in his four-year career.  Odermann was tabbed to the First Team All-State squad by the Des Moines Register as a linebacker in both his junior and senior campaigns.  He earned the same honor from the Iowa Sports Connections both years, and was a second team pick as a sophomore.  The Mustangs made three straight trips to the state title game, winning titles in 2009 and 2010.  The Robert Zotz-coached team advanced to the semifinals of the playoffs last fall.  Odermann also participated in track and field for the Mustangs and is a member of the honor roll.
