Prep: Cruz Soulek is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback out of Chamberlain High School. He was a 4-year starter and team captain for the Cubs under the direction of head coach Jeff Rodamocher. In the fall of 2023, Soulek threw for 1,646 yards and rushed for another 1,110 with 27 total touchdowns. He led CHS to their first South Dakota Class A playoff appearance in school history. He is the son of Clint and Julie Soulek.
