A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and a recent graduate of Texas Southern University, Vincent Davis enters his second season on the NSU staff and will coach the wide receivers for the Wolves after coaching the inside linebackers his first season. Davis played both the linebacker and defensive end positions for TSU for two seasons, leading the SWAC conference in sacks and tackles for a loss. He also ranked 10th and 15th in the nation in those respective categories.
Following his playing career, Davis spent one season as the Co-Defensive Coordinator and linebackers coach at St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas before joining the Wolves for the 2009 season.
Davis graduated from TSU in May, 2009, and is working towards his master’s degree in physical education at Northern.
