Rysean Grant enters his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Wolves in the fall of 2024. Grant serves as the wide receivers coach for the Wolves.
The fall of 2023 saw the Wolves going 5-6 overall. Seven single game, season, and career school records were tied or broken in 2023, while four Wolves were named to the NSIC All-Conference teams.
Grant joined the Northern State program following a two year stint at Knox College. As the wide receivers coach, Grant worked with two student-athletes that ranked in the top-20 in receiving yards in the conference. The 2022 season saw Knox College post the best record since 2017 and his two seasons on staff were the best back-to-back seasons since 2002.
Grant played collegiately at Chestnut Hill College from 2017-18. He spent the 2019 season on staff at Chestnut as a student assistant. Grant earned his bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from CHC. He is currently pursuing a masters in Sport Performance and Leadership from NSU.
