Jason Hoskins

Jason Hoskins will enter his fifth year as an assistant coach at Northern State in 2014. A native of Dubuque, Iowa, Hoskins came to Northern State via Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill. Hoskins served as a graduate assistant working with the wide receivers in 2009 and the offensive line in 2008, and also served as the program’s video coordinator.

Before that he was a graduate assistant at the University of Minnesota-Duluth working with the running backs.

Prior to his time at UMD he was a student assistant at Loras College in Dubuque, coaching the runningbacks in 2005 and the tight ends in 2004.

He coached the defensive backs as a student assistant at Rockford College in Rockford, Ill in 2003 and was a student assistant at Loras College coaching the wide receivers in 2002.

Hoskins earned his BA in history/secondary education from Loras College in 2005 and is currently working towards his Master’s degree in education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 2001.

Jason and his wife Kelly reside in Aberdeen.
