Jason Glasco enters his fourth season with the Wolves in the fall of 2025 as the defensive backs coach. He spent the previous three seasons as the defensive coordinator at Presentation College.
Northern State went 6-5 overall and closed out the season winning six of their last seven games in teh fall of 2024. Four Wolves were honored on the NSIC All-Conference teams and Jake Adams went on to grab two All-American honors and recognition from D2Football.com. The fall of 2023 saw the Wolves going 5-6 overall. Seven single game, season, and career school records were tied or broken in 2023, while four Wolves were named to the NSIC All-Conference teams.
In 2022, the Wolves went 6-5 overall and 3-3 in the North Division. Northern tallied their first NFCA Top-25 victory in the Schmidt-era with a 23-22 win over No. 24 Minnesota State. It was the first win over the Mavericks in over 50 years.
Glasco opened his career as the defensive backs coach at the University of Sioux Falls before spending eight seasons with Dakota Wesleyan University. With the Tigers, Glasco served as a graduate assistant, recruiting coordinator, and special team’s coordinator. He led the third ranked punt return unit in 2016 and coached 21 All-GPAC linebackers, two All-American linebackers, and an All-American punter in his DWU career.
Glasco played collegiately for NSIC foe the University of Sioux Falls, where he was a 3-year starter, 3-time All-GPAC honoree, and All-America Honorable Mention recipient. He was a member of the 2006 National Championship team and received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2007. In addition, Glasco received his master's degree in educational policy and administration from Dakota Wesleyan in 2012.
