Brian Mistro enters his second year as a graduate assistant working with the football team during the 2011 season. A native of Gilbert, Ariz., Mistro comes to Northern State after a playing career at Jamestown College.
Mistro graduated from Highland High School in Gilbert, Ariz. in 2005 and was named All-Conference as a safety during his senior prep campaign.
At Jamestown College, Mistro was a two-year starter earning honorable mention All-Conference honors his senior year. He graduated with a degree in mass communication in 2009.
He will be coaching the safeties and pursuing a masters degree in health, physical education, and coaching at Northern State.
