2015: Started all 11 games for the Wolves… Led the team with five interceptions and 74 return yards… Notched 185 yards on seven kick returns, averaging 26.4 yards per return… Added a 90 yard kick return long versus Minot State... Third on the team with 65 tackles, 37 unassisted and 28 assisted… Recorded 2.5 tackles for a total loss of five yards… Led the team with 18 break-ups and 23 pass deflections… Added one blocked kick and 18 yards rushing on one carry… Tallied two touchdowns, one on an interception and one on a kick return… Named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week after the Wolves 31-24 victory over St. Cloud State… Named to the All-NSIC First Team… Named to the Don Hansen All-Super Region Second Team... Named to the Don Hansen All-America Honorable Mention Team...

2014: Played in ten games on the year… Recorded 29 tackles (21 solo), with a season high seven versus MSU Moorhead… Carried the ball on two occasions for 28 yards… Second on the team in kick returns with 13 for 302 yards, with a 78 yard return versus Winona State… Led the team with four interceptions for 134 yards… Tallied 2.5 tackles for a loss… Notched a total of 464 all-purpose yards, with a season high 109 versus Bemidji State… 

2013: Appeared in all 11 games and made one start … led the NSIC and was 34^th in the nation with 1.3 passes defended (14 total) had 12 pass breakups … tied for sixth on the team with 45 tackles (37 solo) … second on the team with two interceptions … returned a fake punt 60 yards for a touchdown against MSU Moorhead (10/5) … led the team with 20 kickoff returns for 428 yards … returned a blocked punt 15 yards for a touchdown against U-Mary (11/2)

2012: Redshirt season

Prep: Barber is a 2011 Argus Leader Elite 45 pick, while earning All-State and All-Big Sioux Conference honors for his efforts in all facets of the game. Barber, the Joe Robbie MVP of the 2011 state title game, tallied 48 tackles on defense while running for 914 yards and 12 touchdowns. Like his twin brother, Zachery, who will also be joining the Wolves for the 2012 season, Channing Barber was an Honorable Mention Elite 45 selection in 2010. Also a stand-out on the track, he teamed with Zachery Barber on the state champion 4x100-meter relay team at the 2010 state track and field championships. Channing also placed third in the open 100-meter dash in both 2010 and 2011, while helping the DRHS basketball team to a third place finish in 2011.
