Northern State University Athletics

Prep: Wieber joins the Northern State football team after earning four letters at Wyndmere Lidgerwood High School under the direction of head football coach, Scott Strenge.  Wieber won numerous awards while at Wyndmere Lidgerwood including 2007 Freshman Award 2008 All-Region,  2009 All-Region, 2009 All-State second team, 2009 Captain, 2009 MVP, 2010 All-Region, 2010 All State first team, 2010 captain and team MVP, 2010 Pancake Award, and 2010 State 9-Man Champion. Wieber was also chosen to play in the Badlands Bowl and Shrine Game.  In 2008 Wieber recorded 447 yards rushing, eight touchdowns, 491 yards passing seven touchdowns 55 tackles and 2 interceptions. In 2009 he posted 470 yards rushing, eight touchdowns, 674 yards passing, 14 touchdowns, two interceptions, 3 receiving 115 yards, one touchdown, 51 tackles, and two interceptions. In his senior season Wieber had 961 rushing yards, 19 touchdowns, 1263 yards passing, 15 touchdowns, one interception, one defensive touchdown and 104 tackles. Wieber was also a four year letterwinner for track and basketball in which he won numerous awards, and was involved with many activities and organizations on campus and in the community.
