As a prep, Vespo was a first team all-conference and all-state selection, throwing 20 touchdowns in his senior season. He appeared in 18 games at Mo West, averaging 119.7 yards per game with 2,154 total yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2021, Vespo recorded 1,442 yards, eight touchdowns, and a 59.1 pass completion percentage. He is the son of Maurice Vespo and Kayce Jungman.
