2012: Redshirt season

2011: Played in 1 game for the Wolves... Accumulated 51 yards on 9 carries... 2 receptions for 29 yards... suffered knee injury derailing true freshman season... granted hardship waiver by NCAA for a redshirt season...

Previously: Mayo was a three-year letterwinner for the Chandler High School Wolves, racking up 615 yards and 10 touchdowns on 75 carries en-route to All-Region honors as a senior. He also hauled in ten receptions for 122 yards and another touchdown and had a 100-yard kick-off return for a score as well. Mayo also earned two letters on the track for the Wolves.
