Conner Klostermann

Conner Klostermann enters his fifth season an assistant coach with the Northern State baseball program in the fall of 2024.

In the spring of 2024, Northern went 18-31 overall and 13-26 in hte Northern Sun. Two Wolves were named to the NSIC All-Conference teams and five school records were broken. 

The Wolves tallied an 11-31 record overall and 6-25 mark in the NSIC in the spring of 2023. Northern found success at the plate improving in 12 offensive categories from the previous spring. The Wolves racked up the most single season homeruns since 2016, runs per game since 2018, and doubles since 2019. In addition, Reece Ragatz tallied the highest homerun total of ten since the spring of 2017 with Jack Schmidt (10) and Lucas Lorenz (15). 

Northern State posted a 15-26 record overall and 10-18 mark in the Northern Sun in 2022. Northern State second basemen Isaiah Chevalier was named to the NSIC All-Defensive team following the season. Northern went 15-22 overall and 14-19 in the NSIC in the spring of 2021. Two Wolves were named to the NSIC All-Conference teams in Seth Brewer (first team) and Spencer Sarringar (defensive team). 

Prior to NSU, Klostermann was the assistant coach at Beckman Catholic High School in Dyersville, Iowa. In 2017, Klostermann helped lead the Blazers to a 32-11 record and the Iowa Class 2A State Baseball Championship. 

Klostermann played collegiate baseball at Des Moines Area Community College and Upper Iowa University. Klostermann led the NSIC  with six home runs during the 2020 season that was suspended due to COVID-19. He earned a bachelor's in English Education from Upper Iowa University (2019) and a master’s degree in Sport Performance and Leadership from NSU (2022).  He resides in Aberdeen with his wife Lauren and daughter Collins.
