Pre-NSU: Brent Hokeness is a 6-foot-1, catcher and outfielder out of Adrian High School and Iowa Central Community College. As a prep he was a 3-year starter and letter winner for the Dragons under the direction of head coach Joe Kruger. As a junior he hit .429 en route to a 2018 conference championship, while earning his first of two Red Rock All-Conference and All-Section selections. In 2020 Hokeness was named to the All-State Academic Team. As a Triton, he earned 2021 and 2022 Academic All-Region honors at ICCC. He is the son of Dave and Cindy Hokeness.
