2026: Started all 48 games for the Wolves... Led NSU in at bats (158), runs (31), hits (51) and doubles (13)... Chalked 27 RBIs, five home runs and one triple at the plate, batting a .323... Saw action in 14 games at the rubber, starting in 12 games and finishing with a 3-8 record... Threw 35 strikeouts in 54.0 innings, notching a collegiate career-high 11 strikeouts in Northern State's win over UMD on April 11... Earned 88 putouts and 82 assists in the field, finishing with a .955 fielding percentage...

2025: Started all 49 games as a true freshman… Hit a team second best .331 with a team leading 53 hits and seven home runs… Added 11 doubles, 35 runs scored, two triples, 25 RBI, and eight stolen bases… Defensively, tallied a .912 fielding percentage with 52 putouts and 83 assists… Threw 68.0 innings of work, recording one win and 47 strikeouts…

Prep: Aune Boben is a 5-foot-8, utility player and pitcher out of Hibbing High School. She was a 5-year starter for the Popeyes under the direction of head coach Kadee Vesledahl. Boben was a 3-time all-conference and all-section honoree and the 2023 Iron Range Softball Player of the Year. She is the daughter of Jen and Carl Boben.
