Starting September 14, 2015, the Northern State University volleyball team entered the AVCA Top-25 Poll and spent 72 consecutive weeks in the top-25 of NCAA Division II from 2015-2021. Northern earned their first No. 1 ranking in program history on September 17, 2018 as the Wolves garnered 1168 total points and 41 first place votes. Prior to the 2015 season, the Wolves were ranked in the top-25 in both 2013 and 2014. In 2013, NSU was ranked 25, 23, 20, 22, 22, and 23 in the final six polls of the year. In 2014, the Wolves were ranked 21, 21, 21, 24, 24, and 24 through the preseason and first five weeks of the season. The 2019 Wolves opened the year with the highest pre-season ranking by the program, coming in at No. 8 overall. For past polls visit the
