The Army National Guard Howling Wolves Student Fan Club is a completely FREE program for all Northern State University students. To join the Howling Wolves, all you need to do is attend one home NSU home athletic event, and have your student ticket scanned. Once your ticket is scanned, you will be automatically entered into the Howling Wolves database. Howling Wolves members have the opportunity to earn points for a chance to win monthly prizes and a possible shot at the grand prize. The top 20 point getters each month will receive a Howling Wolves branded T-shirt, the top three point getters will be entered into the grand prize raffle, and the top point getter each month will receive the monthly prize.
All points reset each month allowing for a new opportunity each month to win the monthly prize.
The Howling Wolves Student Fan Club was formed to create the best student section in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and all of NCAA Division II athletics. In order for NSU to reach this goal, we need your help! We need YOU to attend all home athletic events and cheer on the Wolves! We want you to be as crazy, wild, and as loud as you can possibly be at all of our home games this year in an effort to create a home field advantage for our student athletes and sport programs. All Howling Wolves members are highly encouraged to sit in the designated Student Section at all home athletic events. Become an active member of the Howling Wolves Student Fan Club and help us defend our territory! GO WOLVES!!
HOW TO EARN POINTS
All regular season home competitions are worth 1 points. If you attend two or more separate athletic events in the same day (i.e. football and volleyball) then you will receive an additional 1 point for that day. Double-header events (i.e. basketball, baseball, and softball) are worth 1 points throughout the entirety of the doubleheader.
**Points earned while working Wolves athletic events are excluded
**Points and events are subject to change without notice
**Playoff games and exhibitions are excluded unless noted otherwise
EXPECTATIONS OF HOWLING WOLVES MEMBERS
- Have your student ticket scanned at games to earn points
- Stand together in the Howling Wolves Student Section
- Cheer loud and make noise
- Stand up, clap, and sing along with the NSU Fight Song
- Stay for the entirety of the game
