2021-22: Went 15-5 overall and 4-1 in the NSIC… Placed sixth at the Dragon Open… Was the Super Region V runner-up at 197, advancing to the NCAA Championships… Earned the first All-American honors of his career, placing fourth… Tallied a 3-2 record from the championships, with all three victories over ranked opponents…

2021: Tallied a 3-4 record overall… Record all three victories by decision…

2019-20: Redshirt season, wrestled unattached… Posted an 11-3 record on the year… Placed fifth at the Jimmie Invite and second at the DSU Alumni Open…

Prep: Cole Huss is a 5-foot-11, 174-pound wrestler out of Gretna High School. He was a 3-year starter and senior team captain for the Dragons under the direction of head coach Jake Smith. Huss was a 3-time state placewinner taking fourth at 145-pounds, third at 152-pounds, and second at 170-pounds last season. He finished his high school career with a 119-25 record. In addition, Huss placed second at Nebraska Greco State and third at Nebraska Freestyle State in 2018. He was named to the All-ITG team as a junior and senior, as well as the All-State academic team in 2019. He is the son of Ryan and Jennifer Huss.
