2022-23: Posted a 15-7 record on the year… Spent the season nationally ranked… Recorded an upset victory over No. 4 Tereus Henry of Fort Hays State… Placed second at the NCAA Super Region V Tournament, going 2-1… Competed at the NCAA Championships, earning the second All-America honors of his career… Placed eighth at 197 pounds… Went 2-1 at the NCAA Championships, prior to two medical forfeits… Earned NSIC All-Conference second team honors…

Prep: Cole Huss is a 5-foot-11, 174-pound wrestler out of Gretna High School. He was a 3-year starter and senior team captain for the Dragons under the direction of head coach Jake Smith. Huss was a 3-time state placewinner taking fourth at 145-pounds, third at 152-pounds, and second at 170-pounds last season. He finished his high school career with a 119-25 record. In addition, Huss placed second at Nebraska Greco State and third at Nebraska Freestyle State in 2018. He was named to the All-ITG team as a junior and senior, as well as the All-State academic team in 2019. He is the son of Ryan and Jennifer Huss.
