Prep: Tommy Chatman is a 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and Park Center High School. He was a 2-year starter and team captain for the Pirates under the direction of head coach James Ware. Chatman averaged 13.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game as a senior. He shot 62.6 percent from the floor and 73.8 percent from the free throw line, notching a career high 26 points in 2019. Chatman was named to the Minnesota Mr. Basketball top-30 and was a finalist for the MBCA McDonald Award. He was named to the Northwest Suburban All-Conference team and the Pirates finished in third place at the MSHSL 4A State Tournament. He is the son of Thomas and Christine Chatman.
