2016-17: Tallied season bests of 4:23.62 in the 1500m run and 16:43.90 in the 5000m run… Recorded a personal best in the 3000m steeplechase of 10:14.37…
2015-16: Competed in the distance events for the Wolves… Notched five top-10 finishes on the year… Won the 10,000m run at the MIAA/NSIC Showdown in 34:12.90… Tallied personal bests in the indoor mile (4:35.29) and 3,000m run (9:06.04) and outdoor bests in the 1,500m run (4:18.93), 5,000m run (15:42.38), and 10,000m run (33:23.58)…
2014-15: Recorded personal bests in the 1500m (4:19.37), mile (4:49.78), 3000m (9:06.43), 5000m (15:45.70), and 10,000m (34:49.82)… Took first at the NDSU Thundering Herd Classic in the 3000m… Was a member of the 4x8 relay that won the indoor Cobber Duals… Tallied six top ten finishes on the year…

2016: Finished eighth at the Herb Blakely Invite with a time of 27: 32.0 (8k)… finished 13

Career and Season Bests
High School: Clay is a distance runner. He was a sectional finalists in track. He holds personal records of 4:38.20 in the mile, 10:07.51 in the 3200m, and 2:10.53 in the 800m. He also was a state participant in swim. Clay graduated from Fergus Falls high school in Fergus Falls, MN. He is majoring in Pre- Athletic training.
