Biography
Gena is from Pierre, SD. She high jumped for the Lady Govenors at TF Riggs High School. She is a History and Political Science major at NSU.
2014-15Placed in the top ten in all 15 competitions in 2015… Won the high jump event at the NSU Indoor Open, NSU/SMSU Dual, and Viking Classic… Tallied four second place finishes on the year… Took sixth overall at the NSIC Outdoor Championships…
2014Indoor: won the NSU Open in the high jump with a career-best leap of 5’-5.25” … placed sixth at the NSIC Championships with a leap of 5’-3.75”. Outdoor: placed second at the NSIC Championships in the high jump with a season-high jump of 5’-4.25”
2013 She holds a personal best of 5’4” in the high jump. She tabbed first place at the Prairie Wolf Invitational and scored a 6
th place at the Kip Jarvin Invite. She narrowed missed placing at the Outdoor NSIC Conference Championship while placing 9
th.
