Freshmen (Track): Competed in the 3000m run at the Bison Open with a personal best of 11:12.62…finished outdoor season with a 5000m personal best of 19:14.72 at the NSIC Championships

Freshman (XC): Lead the Wolves to a 13th place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, completing 6k in a personal best 24:02 to finish 32nd out of 281 runners. Finished 37th at the NSIC Championships and 66th at the NCAA II Central Region Championships. 

Prep:  A native of Spokane, Wash., Hughes joins the Wolves after three individual trips to the Washington State Cross Country Championships while competing for West Valley High School.  Hughes, who finished in the top 20 in all three appearances, also led her team to a third place finish at the state meet during her junior campaign.  She was also named as the team captain as both a junior and senior.  Hughes also earned a top 10 finish in the 3,200 meters at the state track and field meet last spring, finishing 10th at the state meet and winning that event at the qualifying district meet.  Hughes’ personal best times include a 2:29 in the 800, 5:25 in the 1,600, 10:59 in the 3K, 11:38 in the 3,200 and 18:48/19:22 for 3-mile/5k in cross country.
