Aberdeen, S.D. - Cooper Eisenbeisz (football) and Jaylee Hofer (soccer) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.

Eisenbeisz ran back the opening kickoff for a touchdown against the University of Mary in the (RV) Wolves win. He tallied an 87-yard return on that opening play for his first special teams touchdown of the season. The junior added eight punt return yards in the game. Averaging 28.5 yards per kick return this season, ranking him first in the NSIC.

Hofer recorded two goals and two assists on five shots and three shots on goal. She scored twice in under three minutes (one by way of a penalty kick) in NSU's 2-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston. The junior assisted two of NSU's goals against MSU Moorhead. The South Dakota native led the Wolves in goals, assists, shots and shots on goal this weekend.
