Aberdeen, S.D. - Hank Kraft (football) and Linnea Nesheim (volleyball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.

Kraft led the NSIC with 232 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 42-17 win over Chadron State. He scored on touchdown runs of 2, 41, 68 and 89 yards. The 24 points were tied for the most in the NSIC last week. The South Dakota native added 46 receiving yards for an NSIC best 278 all-purpose yards. Kraft set career highs for rushing yards and touchdowns in a single game.

Nesheim was named Most Valuable Player and made the All-Tournament Team for the 2026 Oredigger Classic. She totaled 63.5 points, averaging 4.23 points per set. The junior tallied 56 kills on a .336 attack percentage. The South Dakota native added five service aces and two assists on the weekend.
